IT STARTED WITH A KISS!
Walt and Máire met through the wine industry, married in 2000 and started their first business making wine in California in 2001
AN IDEA IN A DREAM OR A DREAM OF AN IDEA?
Ten years later Walt started thinking about alternative packaging to make their Napa Valley red wine more unique. He woke up one night with an idea (seriously, it came to him in a dream!) With some fine tuning, he invented a cap to reseal an open bottle of wine. After using the first one, they knew instantly all wine drinkers had to have at least one. CapaBunga, the business was born.
WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?
After a few years selling CapaBunga, people started asking if the caps worked on Champagne. This question led to our next invention CapaBubbles. As the business grew, we began exploring all the other items we came across in our daily food and wine loving lives that just didn’t work the way we wanted.
To date we've invented ten unique products to make life simpler. The quest to improve everyday items continues to this day.
