BL-Uni Surprise

Another delicious appetizer to impress friends and family that takes minutes to assemble. Can you tell we love our tasty fish snacks? What a great way to start a meal and get the salivary glands salivating! Enjoy!

Ingredients

One Daikon radish; peeled and sliced into 1/16” rounds

5 oz. Bluefin Tuna (or ahi if not available)

Fresh Uni

Sriracha sauce

Ponzu sauce

Furikake

Place daikon discs in shallow bowl and cover with ponzu.  Set aside.  Slice tuna into pieces, roughly 1”x1/2”x1/4” like a lego block.  Set aside.  Sprinkle some furikake onto a plate as if to bread chicken.

Shake excess liquid from daikon and lay each piece on a serving platter.  Dot each one in the center with one to four drops of sriracha depending on your spice preference.  Roll the tuna in the furikake and place on top of the sriracha dot.  Place one piece of fresh Uni on top of Tuna.

Serve immediately with champagne!  Makes roughly 12 pieces.
